Gold – Wear protection coating
Are you working on a sewing-intensive project or dealing with demanding, heavy fabrics? Then you need a needle with exceptional endurance. Needles with this particularly hard wear protection coating need to be replaced less often and are ideal for beginners and frequent sewers.
Black – Nonstick coating
The smooth nonstick coating is ideal when working with sensitive fabrics or self-adhesive elements – but it is also gentle on basic materials. The coating reduces the build-up of adhesive on the needle or in the needle eye, helping to prevent skipped stitches and thread breakage.

| With the Black Super Stretch Needle, you can sew all knitted fabrics, with or without elastane, including sensitive, highly elastic stretch fabrics such as lingerie fabrics, swimsuit fabrics, and elastic lace. It prevents skipped stitches and holes. |
| Which needle is better for metallic threads, the Gold Topstitch Needle or the Gold Embroidery Needle? |
| The Gold Embroidery Needle is mainly for threads with a round cross-section. The Gold Topstitch Needle has a longer eye that helps prevent breakage of both metallic threads with a round cross-section and foil-like threads. Why not try both? |
