Welcome to the Schmetz On-Line Needle Catalogue.
If you are familiar with the use of an Internet browser, you will quickly find your way
around the pages of the Schmetz Internet system.
The screen of the Schmetz Internet pages is divided into three frames.
1. The Navigation frame:
You can get to the different sections and sub-sections of the on-line catalogue by clicking
on the appropriate icons or texts.
2. The Information frame:
The middle frame is the main frame. This frame displays all texts and information on products,
ordering or dealers.
3. The Help frame:
This frame displays explanatory help texts on the individual functions of this on-line catalogue.
In addition, different functions can be displayed in this window, depending on which section of the
catalogue you are in.
If you need a hardcopy of a frame just click on it and select "Print" or "Print frame"
from the menu (depends on your browser).
Index (search engine)
Select the search words from the (pull-down) "Keywords" select box and press the "Search" button.
The search results are displayed as links between the two horizontal rules.
The system (Canu-) index is an overview of needle systems sorted by system no. (Canu No).
The obsolete system index is an overview of needle systems which have been replaced.
The index of needle points shows the point symbol, Canu or system supplement and designation.
The e-mail index is the place where you can find the Schmetz Team
e-mail addresses.
The order index is an overview of all ordering information.

The Schmetz Centre for Application Technology will help you solve your sewing problems. To
iform us about your sewing problems, please fill out the questionnaire.
Needle Catalogue
If you call up the needle catalogue and select a needle segment in the (left) Navigation frame,
the different needle types in the individual product segments are displayed in this frame.
Click on "General information" in order to view general information on the individual needle segments.
Individual needle symbols are displayed under this. Click on the needle symbol to the left
in order to find out more about the individual needle points.
Click on "Info" to the right to call up the ordering information for the corresponding
needle types.
Customer Service
If you call up Customer Service, the continents and the corresponding countries are displayed in
alphabetical order in this window. Either click on the appropriate country in the continent map
in the information frame or select a country from the list in the Help frame.
You are then shown the dealer information for the selected country.
Shopping cart
A separate help text for the Shopping cart is displayed in this window.
