Heavy synthetic fabrics such as nylon, Cordura, leather, composite materials, and neoprene are intended as outer or carrier materials. These in turn are equipped with pads and plastic or carbon linings and integrated pockets for insertable protectors. All of these materials have a special property: stability, which serves to protect the wearer but often causes problems during the production process.
