The production of garment accessories is rather diversified. Ties, umbrellas, hats, and stockings put different demands on the manufacturing process. Functional aspects must be addressed as well as aesthetic ones.

All sewing parameters which influence the production must be carefully coordinated: material, needle, thread, and machine settings. Especially when processing very fine, sensitive materials, it must be taken into account that material, thread, and needle form an inseparable trio. If one parameter is modified, the others must be reviewed and, if necessary, adjusted. Determining the correct needle is one decisive factor for a damage-free seam and a perfect final product.
